Research Interests:

Force microscopy and Spectroscopy, Micro and Nano electro-opto-mechanical system and sensors, plasmon resonance based detection, fabrication/synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles and nanoelectronic devices, novel microscopy and spectroscopy techniques for surface characterization with emphasis on electrical properties, photovoltaic materials and devices, concentrator systems for advanced photovoltaic energy conversion.

Current Research:

Our current research areas cover fundamental and applied studies of micro and nanoscale opto-electronic devices and systems; surface plasmon resonance based biosensors; micromachined surgical tools; modelling, design, fabrication and characterization of semiconductor devices with novel nanostructured features; X-Ray photoelectron spectroscopy for electrical characterization; Nanomechanics, force microscopy and spectroscopy.
